School Uniform

At Dean Trust Rose Bridge we believe basic standards and expectations are fundamental in the development of all children. Being well-groomed and suitably dressed for different kinds of activity is something we insist on. To support parents/carers and ensure constancy of dress, we provide all Year 7 pupils with their first uniform free of charge as part of their transition from Year 6.

Our school uniform supplier is Slaters Schoolwear located in Wigan town centre.

Second-hand uniform is available from our school shop. Please contact office@deantrustrosebridge.co.uk for more information.

The compulsory school uniform consists of the following items:

Girls Uniform

Blazer
Burgundy with Dean Trust Rose Bridge Badge – to be purchased from official supplier
Pinafore & Skirt
Grey pleated, flat fronted grey knee length skirt/pinafore
Trousers
Black tailored trousers – can be purchased from our approved provider or any retailer
Blouse
White – can be purchased from any retailer
Tie
School Colours – to be purchased from official supplier
Socks
Black (Knee Length) No Bows – can be purchased from any retailer
Shoes
Plain Black, Flat heeled, Smooth soles (Boots, trainers, canvas and platform shoes are not allowed) – can be purchased from any retailer

Boys Uniform

Blazer

Tailored Black Trousers – can be purchased from any retailer

Black (Pulled Up, no ankle socks) – can be purchased from any retailer

A formal, plain black shoe with leather upper. No Boot, canvas or trainer style footwear will be allowed – can be purchased from any retailer

Physical Education Kit

Polo shirt with Dean Trust Rose Bridge School logo, black shorts / plain unbranded black leggings with the Dean Trust Rose Bridge School logo, black socks, trainers and football boots.

Optional: Black tracksuit bottoms, tracksuit top and rain jackets may be worn by pupils during cold weather at the direction of the P.E. staff.

We do not permit pupils to wear coats, jackets, or jumpers inside the school building. Pupils may carry these items, or store them in their bags for the duration of the day. When they are outside at break or lunchtime, they can wear these items
